New Mexico legalized adult-use cannabis in 2021, with licensed recreational retail sales beginning April 1, 2022 alongside its longstanding medical program. Adults 21+ can possess up to 2 ounces of flower, 16 grams of concentrate, and 800 milligrams of edibles in public, and may grow up to six mature plants per person (twelve per household).
