Editorial standards
Kush covers a topic where the details matter — what’s legal, what’s in a product, who’s hiring. Here’s how we try to earn your trust, and how to hold us to it.
Sourcing
We build from primary sources: state regulators and statutes for cannabis law, official agency filings for federal policy, and published lab, industry, and scientific references for product and plant information. Where a claim is contested or evolving, we say so rather than flatten it into false certainty.
Accuracy & corrections
Cannabis law and science move fast, so our reference pages are dated and reviewed on a schedule. When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and note material corrections. Spot an error? Email hello@kush.co and we’ll look into it.
Not legal or medical advice
Cannabis is a “your money or your life” topic. Our laws, strains, and glossary pages are general information for adults 21+, not legal or medical advice. Effects we describe are commonly reported, not guaranteed, and vary by person, product, and dose. Confirm current rules with your state’s regulator and consult a professional for medical questions.
Editorial independence
Advertising and sponsorships keep Kush free, and they are always clearly labeled. Sponsorship never buys editorial coverage, influence over our ratings, or a guarantee of favorable treatment. We keep a firm wall between our newsroom and our business side.
How the jobs board works
Listings on the Kush jobs board are aggregated from real employers’ public career pages and applicant-tracking systems, normalized, and de-duplicated. We don’t charge job-seekers, and standard employer listings are free. We can’t guarantee every role is still open at the moment you apply — always confirm on the employer’s own site.
AI & automation
We use software to aggregate jobs, structure data, and assist drafting, but a person is responsible for what we publish. We don’t pass off automated output as first-hand reporting.
