What is Indica?
Indica is a traditional cannabis category popularly associated with relaxing, "body-heavy" effects, though the label is a rough generalization.
Indica historically refers to shorter, bushier plants, and consumers often use the term as shorthand for relaxing or sedating products. Modern science indicates that the indica/sativa split is an unreliable predictor of effects, which depend more on a product’s cannabinoid and terpene chemistry. Most commercial cannabis today is hybrid genetics regardless of how it is marketed.
