Cannabinoids
What is CBD (Cannabidiol)?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a major non-intoxicating cannabinoid in cannabis and hemp that does not produce a "high" on its own.
CBD is the second most abundant cannabinoid after THC and is widely sold in oils, edibles, and topicals. Unlike THC, it does not produce intoxication, and it is often discussed for its reported calming or balancing effects, though research is ongoing. CBD derived from hemp (containing under 0.3% THC by dry weight) is federally legal in the United States.
