What is Kief?

Kief is the loose, powdery collection of cannabis trichomes that fall off flower, concentrated and more potent than the bud itself.

Kief consists of the detached resin glands that sift off dried flower, often gathered in the bottom chamber of a grinder. Because it is mostly trichomes, it is noticeably more potent than the surrounding plant material. It can be sprinkled on flower, pressed into hash or rosin, or used to make other concentrates.
