What is Hash (Hashish)?

Hash is a traditional cannabis concentrate made by collecting and compressing the plant’s resin-rich trichomes into a solid mass.

Hash, short for hashish, is one of the oldest forms of cannabis concentrate and is made by separating trichomes from flower, then pressing them together. Methods range from hand-rubbing and dry sifting to modern ice-water extraction, which produces "bubble hash." It can be smoked, vaporized, added to flower, or pressed into rosin.
