What is Tolerance Break (T-Break)?
A tolerance break, or "T-break," is a deliberate period of abstaining from cannabis to reduce a built-up tolerance to its effects.
With regular use, the body can become less responsive to THC, so consumers may need more to feel the same effect; a T-break is a pause meant to let sensitivity recover. Lengths vary from a few days to several weeks depending on the person. It is a common community practice rather than a medical protocol.
